VORTEX AND “REASONABLE DOUBT”
We are living in times where everybody is sitting by the keyboard and writing on his own continuously; while any two person cannot do so much of “a writing” together.
Struggles always go over the concepts; go over the language; however this abyss such a deep sublimation is new: Lie, ceased to be a problem of paradigm as always happens and became the name of the most shameless faces of existence …
Politically correct Ö. Çelik, Minister of Cultural Affairs who learnt that the statement of Goebbels “I am looking for my pistol when I hear the word of culture” shall be considered shameful nowadays, should betrusting the validity of very same Goebbels’ lie theory “tell a lie, there will always be believers”. Thus he has been pouring his “democracy” which was kept from us during all unreasonable and reasonable actions taken by the police on the bases of “reasonable doubt”, into cultural area by saying “the ideological oppression continues over the cultural life ”…And culture and art district takes the lead in the areas which are not democratized.
All this lightness is realized over which grounds?
The reply of Gasset: “the regular human-being who has been governed by others, has decided to rule the world by himself. The decision to come forward in the society has come out before the new human type representing this decision has not matured yet. Starting from his birth,this new type who believes in strongly that the life is easy, prosperous and it has no strict limitations, as a natural result, carries a sense of power and defeat. My drawings are the products of the typology created by this darkened atmosphere…
However if art is the subject, there is another significant matter… Özcan Türkmen points out that: “there is science however the equations and formulas of science are not enough for us. There is philosophy, but concepts of philosophy are not enough. All disciplines are insufficient by themselves and are far from convincing us. We still need of one each of them separately and as a discipline. The art has a vital importance in regards to the gap which cannot be closed between the “reality” and the “symbols” mentioned by Lacan. The reason of its existence and its starting point is in fact that gap. Man, tries to close this gap by pulling us into “culture and language which is the home of human being against nature” as described by Goethe. The image of art comes out as the expression of the things which cannot be symbolized and understood as opposed to all the efforts put into words. The “reality” has not been symbolized but as a result of this effort by creating an image in the space, the image has been brought in as an art form into the culture. (…) As the form is the language of art, art with no hesitation, is spoken with the language of form. When the concepts are not enough, it is producing un-conceptualized works by the impulses on which concepts cannot shed a light. (…) Reduction of art into philosophy and its talking only with concepts will never happen as the gap between the words and the things will never been closed and the art form attached to formwill continue to be produced out of thesymbolic area in this gap. If we tell this in the sense of Hegelian, art is of course “stutterer” and in fact inarticulate like eye. Beautiful in the eye of beholder, as indicated by the phrase, is something appeals to eye, therefore it is first of all something appeals to senses. (…) The aesthetic life experienced through artwork is a free game stimulated by sensations created by the artform between our imagination and our understanding capacity.
